Keto: What? Why? How?

 

Keto is a high fat low carb (HFLC) lifestyle or diet. All your life your body has used your bodies glucose to produce energy. The body’s glucose is created from carbs and sugars. So, now that you have taken on the HFLC lifestyle, the body will no longer produce glucose. Instead your liver will now create what are called, ketones. The ketones will place your body into a ketosis state (hence the name keto). Once the body is in ketosis you’re going to be a fat burning machine.
